Black Bear in Taylor Creek With Leg Raised

Collection: Bears

Black Bear in Taylor Creek With Leg Raised — wildlife photography print by Lynn Starnes

In addition to eating berries, roots, and salmon, black bears also prey on deer, moose, insects, and sometimes even carrion (dead animal flesh left by other predators). They're not picky eaters, since their goal is to store up as much body fat as possible before winter.

Fine art prints from $23.85 — available on canvas, acrylic and aluminium.
