Timber Wolf Howl
Collection: Wolves, Coyotes and Foxes
Wild wolves howl to communicate with pack members, assemble for hunts, and defend their territory. Howling is most frequent at dawn or dusk. Between the fog and snow, this wolf thought it was dawn so needed to howl! Timer Wolver Sheltered with Temperatures less that 20 below F. I was delighted when in the Arctic to see wolves. They would monitor our trips from a distance. On this day, it was so cold and windy! Even the wolves took shelter!
